Mother's Day Flowers

Everyone like getting flowers right! For Mother's Day Hans got Mom a big batch of flowers! But they're not just any old flowers! These flowers will last for a few months and look fantastic! This morning Mom and Hans planted them in the front flower bed and make a cute red and yellow boarder! Now the front yard is full of bright and cheery curb appeal!




The red flower is a Salvia! These flowers are apart of the mint famliy and are often called red sages.


And the yellow flower is a marigold! Marigolds are actually called Tagetes, but they go by their nickname in North America and most of Europe.


With Summer coming up these flower are perfect for getting us in to "Summer Mode"! Sunshine and fun times ahoy!

Big Update or Awesomeness!

Whew! It's been a while since Easter. Unfortunately, this month has been psycho busy! I have end of the semester papers and finals coming up fast. (Like the next Monday fast!) This post is going to cover a lot of stuff so hold onto your hats! This is going to be image heavy too!

Hans' concert was super good! He reported to me that the cafe reached a new record. The cafe had more customers there than any one night ever! Wow! Wow! WOW! Along with his good friend and music partner, Hansy sold some CDs and even gave me so pictures to post up!



The packaging is very eco-friendly and modern! It's a great fit for Hans' music! He even autographed it!

Next up would be Scoops! Scoops is a magical candy/ice cream/cake shop with sweets galore! I adore their chocolate sooo very much! Melanie and I went there earlier this week to stave off stress and enjoy the glory of candy!




There was more of the shop, but I didn't get many pictures. Melanie and I multitasked and studied for tests at the same time! It was loads of fun!

Last, but not least, we had a hot air balloon in our backyard today! It was super amazing!

Aww! Those colors look terrific on Mom! She really likes her new outfit. It's not only fashionable, but comfortable! A perfect spring ensemble! Where did she find it? Why! Á la Kohl's of course!

Hansy's Live Show

This weekend Hans and his friend, Andrew, have a performance at the City Skies Cafe in Atlanta this Saturday. He's super excited about it too! They've even prepared CD to sell! Very Exciting!



After the show, Hans plans to update with some pictures and his own commentary about how the show went!

Flamingo Invasion!

On my way to school a particular shop has caught my attention. This might be because they have an army of flamingos! That's right! They have several dozens of the pink birds hanging out around and on their shop! Of course their just plastic, but still it's pretty cute!

Oh my Gosh Shoes!

Now honestly, I'm not big into shoes (unless you count Purpy.), but I had to have new shoes because my old pair of tennis shoes were worn flat out. So after a trip to Khol's and Wal-Mart I'm now very well equipped!

These are my new plain black and white tennis shoes! They'll be good for school.



These are my green and polka dot ones that I wore to Church this morning!



And last, but not least My new orange shoes! Wait? Orange? You bet yah! I choose these to go with my new t-shirt and Orange hoodie!






Whew! Image heavy enough for ya? But that's not all Mom got her self a new outfit for Easter. Want to see it? Too bad! You'll have to wait until Easter because it's a cute surprise! I'll make sure to get lots of cute pictures of Mom in her new Spring outfit!

Snow!

Can you believe it! It's snowing in Georgia! ... AND IT'S STICKING! YAY! It started snowing during church this morning and all the kids were excited! Bob and Phred the gnomes were excited too! (Okay, Bob wasn't excited, but he's Bob!) The gnomes decided to play with their pin wheel and it lasted all of two minutes... it was too cold outside.
