Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday was Mom's Birthday! We had lots of funny with the cake! Mom picked out a chocolate cake with coconut icing in the middle! I was super yummy! Mom had a fantastic birthday!





We got Mom a lot of roses for her Birthday. The funny part was that Hans and Dad bought the flowers from the same floral shop!



Dad also got Mom a new Willow Tree angel to add to her angel collection!

Happy Birthday Popie!

Yesterday was the Popie's birthday and it was full of surprises and fun! To start things off- not only was it Dad's birthday, but it was Chinese new year too! Happy year of the ox!


For Dad's Birthday dinner we had stuffed peppers, chicken rice, green beans,and fruit! It was delicious! The peppers were the best part of the meal.


Next up was the cake! Now to be honest, a week ago we had bought a super fancy cake and did birthday cake a week ago. For yesterday's cake we had banana cream pie! The funny thing was Mom had bought a pie and when Hans came home from work he had also bought a pie! So we have a lot of pie in the house now!

Next up were presents! These were very funny! The first card Dad opened only had a dollar in it. It had been Mom's idea as a gag gift. I think this was the gift Dad liked the most.


The biggest surprise, though, was the Nintendo DS. Dad always plays games on his phone, so we decided to give him a DS to play with! You should have seen confused look!
